Our instructors are chosen not just for their certifications, but for their genuine desire to help others and their belief in the “why” behind what we do. Each brings their own unique style and approach, creating a diverse range of classes within the beauty of Pilates.

Rubyn

Founder

Rubyn is the founder of Mii Studio and part of the instructing team. She is The SO Academy certified, with additional training in postural analysis and pre/post-natal Pilates through STOTT Pilates. Her teaching style is centered on all-roundedness - guiding clients to build strength, coordination, balance, and flexibility across every part of the body. She believes that true strength and fitness comes from creating balance in all aspects of movement.

For Rubyn, Pilates is more than exercise; it’s a way of showing love to the body we live in every day. Her philosophy is simple: every body deserves to be cared for so that we can continue to enjoy life in healthy, functional ways.

 

Outside the studio, Rubyn loves playing golf with her family, spending time outdoors, and going on food adventures around Auckland!

Julie

Pilates Instructor / Creative Coordinator

Julie is not only a member of our instructor team, but also the creative coordinator at Mii Studio. As both an instructor and our studio’s creative coordinator, she brings a unique blend of strength, artistry, and energy into everything she does.

With a background in running and weight lifting, Julie adds an athletic edge to Pilates - pairing traditional principles with powerful, dynamic movement. Her classes mix strength, flow, and creative sequencing, offering sessions that feel both fun and deeply empowering. She’s passionate about breaking the stigma around women and strength training, and she encourages every client, beginner to advanced, to push past their limits and discover their full potential.

Outside the studio, you’ll likely find Julie exploring long hikes, diving into true-crime documentaries, or on a long run.

Taina

Pilates Instructor

Taina brings a strong, intentional approach to Pilates, always balanced with her naturally playful edge. She’s all about form, flow, and helping you feel that deep, satisfying burn - but never without a few laughs along the way.

 

Her classes are equal parts focused and fun, with a rhythm that keeps you moving and a vibe that keeps you coming back. She creates a space where you can feel strong, capable, and completely yourself, supported by her easygoing energy and encouraging teaching style. 

Outside the studio, Taina is a proud dog mum to the best studio pup, a salsa-dancing queen, and is always on the lookout for her next sweet treat. Her playlists are a perfect mix of feel-good flow and fire - Bad Bunny will definitely make an appearance and her personality is as picante as her music taste.

Charlie

Pilates Instructor

Charlie is one of our bubbliest  instructors at Mii Studio, bringing her background as a former ballerina and her love for mindful movement into every class. With a bright yet grounded energy, she guides clients through flowing reformer sequences that build strength, balance, and control - while her specialised mobility sessions support recovery, deeper body awareness, and easeful movement.

 

Her teaching style is thoughtful and intentional, designed to help you feel connected, centred, and balanced - both physically and mentally. Charlie believes that movement is a powerful way to care for the body and mind, creating space to feel strong, lengthened, and grounded.

 

Outside the studio, you’ll often find her with a coffee in hand, listening to true-crime podcasts, or crafting something beautiful with her cat, Mouse, by her side.

Amelia

Pilates Instructor

Amelia is one of our uplifting instructors at Mii Studio - a ray of sunshine with a deep passion for mindful, balanced movement. Not only is she certified in both mat and reformer Pilates, she also holds a Bachelor of Sport and Recreation in Exercise Science, Nutrition, and Sport & Exercise Science, and brings a strong foundation in health and wellness to every session.

 

Amelia creates a calm, supportive environment where clients can move with confidence and awareness. Her classes blend strength, mindfulness, and restoration, helping you feel balanced, grounded, and energised long after you walk out of the studio. She believes that wellness is found in the little things - moving with intention, tuning into the body, and finding moments of stillness within the flow.

Outside the studio, you’ll likely find her tending to her plants, soaking up the sunshine, or on a hot girl walk with a matcha.
